Welcome to Oldroyd’s Corner Yorkshire CIC – a place created for everyone to enjoy, meet, teach and connect.

Oldroyd’s Corner Yorkshire CIC is a vibrant community initiative located in Woodmansey, East Yorkshire. Within our repurposed commercial glasshouse nestles a one-acre garden. It serves as a sanctuary for individuals of all ages and walks of life, especially older generations and those with disabilities. By harnessing the therapeutic power of community gardening, our aim is to foster social connections, empower local community members, and encourage knowledge sharing across all ages.

Our team of volunteers help to maintain the beautiful planting, and pitch in ideas for the rest of the garden.

Comfortable seating provides an ideal place to meet friends and family, use as your office for the day, to base your hobby group, or hold a yoga class. All whilst being protected from the unpredictable British weather!
